Experiencing trauma or intense emotional situations can leave us feeling confused, overwhelmed, and frustrated. Trauma can impact our relationships, careers, and personal lives in ways that keep us feeling stuck. I help adults process difficult emotions, explore unhelpful behaviors or thoughts, and enhance self-awareness through the therapeutic relationship. In therapy, I will work collaboratively with you to hear, understand, and affirm your needs and hopes.
I have experience using psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness-based techniques in psychotherapy to help you develop greater understanding of self and implement strategies to manage intense emotions. I use art in my practice to allow space for expressing things you don’t have the words to say, and to explore the meaning of life experiences.
